"I am very pleased that the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority approved Indiana County’s Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) application. As the prime sponsor of the legislation that created this program, I am especially gratified to see that the local community will be enjoying the benefits it offers."

 "I want to congratulate IUP and Indiana County for their successful application. The KIZ is an outstanding program because it encourages partnerships between Pennsylvania's institutions of higher education and the business community to foster economic development and job growth. IUP certainly is the crown jewel of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, which should make it even more attractive for these types of partnerships. I eagerly look forward to seeing these projects come to fruition."
