For Immediate Release Senator White Now on Labor and Industry CommitteeSenator Don White, R-41st District, was recently named to serve on the Senate Labor and Industry Committee, taking over the seat vacated by the passing of Senator Robert J. Thompson earlier this year. "I appreciate the opportunity to serve on this committee, since it is the panel that considers legislation that directly impacts workers and employers throughout the 41st District," said Senator White. "I look forward to taking on the challenges and having the chance to expand my knowledge that comes with serving on a new committee." Senator White will continue to serve as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs and as Vice Chairman of the Community and Economic Development Committee. He is a member of three other Senate Committees: Banking and Insurance; Environmental Resources and Energy; and Transportation and serves as a member of the PENNVEST Board of Directors.
